These are the facts of the accident of Abraham Flore.
A 20 year old man was killed after he lost control of his vehicle.
* Abrham flores was driving a 2006 chevrolet cobalt- when it went into a broadside skid.
* Abraham wasejected as the cobalt spun around following impact and was prononced dead at the scene.
* The passanger from the other car was uninjured & suffered minor to moderate injurt.
* Flores was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
This article did not have an opinion, but my opinion is that in the frst place i think mabye Abraham shouldn't of been driving under the stage of alcohol. Mabye if his parents wouldn't of let him driven drunk nothing of that would of happened. I personally new abraham and his parents after talking to them about the situation they said how they ddn't want abraham to drive drunk because it was dangerous and they knew how crazy he drove. So afetr abraham left the house somebody followed him to make sure he wsa going to be okay. So half way there the person who followed him decided to turn back since he fuigured he was going fine on the road. 10 min later Abraham's mom get's a call of the police saying that they found a young man who had just had an accident and was prononced dead at the scene.I knew how abraham would decide to stick to something and nothing or anyone could get him away from that.
Well i hope this aritcle makes a lot of teenagers undersatnd the dangerous it is while they are driving ane drinking. Abraham lost his life because he dicided to take off and drive while he was consuming alcohol he did wrong and he made a bad choice... but know it's to late to take time back and make the right choice. Think before you act....

The Great Debate...
Mother's have a totally diffenent point of view towards drinking and driving than teenagers.
MOTHER"S POINT OF VIEW>
I found this atricle of a mother's point of viewand how she feels about teenagers drinking and driving. This point of viwe is from a dessperate mother who lost her daughter due to a 17 year old boy who was driving while drinking. Th emotherexplains how hard it was for her to get that phone call that night and have someone tell her that her daughter wasn't going to make it and that she should hurry. She sais how she rushed to the hospital to try to see her one last time but she didn't make it. She also tells how she was when she entered the room where her daughter was in. The room felt cold as if she was enetring a cage of ice she sais. She also said she wished at moments that it wasn't her daughter laying on that flat table and that somebody belse had her place. From this mother point of view she advices all teenagers to stop drinking while they drive because they can hurt them selfes hurt someone else r like this case kill someone else or mabye even kill themselfves. Teenagers need to start noticng and make actions and most of all for there parents to not let them drive when they are drinking.
TEENAGERS POINT OF VIEW..
From a teenage point of view... drinking while driving is smething totally normal and cool. They think evrything will be okay and that nothing will happen. They feel and think they can handle the world but the horrible truth is that the never know what will happen. A nortmal teenager doesn't think of the what if... they just do it and when they notice that somethin bad has happened is when they cry and they think back and they ask themselfs why they did it. It's fun to go out and party and drink... A teenager sais. We like to hang out with friends and just have fun. They say that they know perfectly what they're doing..

Reflect and Reconsider
When I first started to choose my topic it was a bit hard, because I didn't really know what I wanted to write about. After days of thinking and thinking I came up with drunk driving. I though drunk driving was an interesting topic to talk about. I also though it could help a lot of teenagers see the consequences about such an important topic. I started very poorly I did the first two blogs and then after that I stopped writing anything, and researching anything. I think I just didn't take the enough time to look over the stuff on my topic. Know that I see how important it is to keep up with my blogs. Right know i think i just keep researching for more and more stuff about drunk driving I'm sure there will be plenty more for me to learn about.

Survey...
I gave out survey's to some students in one of my classes about this topic, because I was wondering what they though about drinking and driving. One of my question was...
Do you know anybody that's been in an accident?
4 out of 10 students said yes, that a lot of family memebers had been in serious accidents they said that they knew the consequences about it and that they were just not thinking of what they were doing when they crshed. That they were so drunk that they didn't even know.
Another of my question was...
What are your thoughts on drinking and driving?
2 out of 10 students were guys, said it's really dangerous, 4 out of 10 (boys) said the didn't realy care as long as that didn't happen to them. And the other 4 girls left said that this ype of accidents shouldn't be happening if just everyone knew how to handle the situatin, for example if they knew that they would be dinking then bring someone along to drive for them.
Well this survey that I passed out helps me see and helps other people see what some students think abou important topics that happen arpund the world every weekend.

Current News...
;">Drinking and driving has always been a big issue since the 1990's. The United States was given a a "c" grade in the war on drunk driving. In the year of 2007 17,448 people were killed in an alcohol-related crashes representing 41 percent of all traffic deaths. More than 500,000 Americans are injured annually in crashes involving alcohol. Drunk Driving affects all of our life's whether we realize3 it or not. Every single injury and death caused by drunk driving is totally preventable, although the proportion of crashes that are related has dropped dramatically in recent decades. There's still to many such preventable accidents. Alcohol impaired driving remains a serious National problem that tragically effects many victims annually. There has been a lot of arguments one of them was " If I'm older enough to go to war then I'm old enough to drink. This was a really strong argument. The fact to this argument is that citizens are legally adults at the age of 18. Another argument about drinking and driving is " Europeans let their teens drink from an early age yet they don't have the alcohol problem we do." It seems that alcohol has always been around and a lot of accidents have occurred.

Drunk Driving
Drunk Driving is obviously dangerous. Most people drink to have fun, or even to forget about stuff but that doesn't always work. When you're drunk the last thing you can think about is what the consequences will be. Your such in a adrenaline moment that the last thing that matters to you is what going to happen next you just want to live the moment. drunk driving can lead to a really bad accident were you can lose you're life.
I choose this topic because I though it would be something interesting to learn more about and let other know more about it, and recognize the seriousness there is in an accident in cause of using alcohol when your driving.
Drunk driving laws date back to the early decades of the 20th century. Back then, however police found it really hard to find out how much alcohol there was in the person's body when an accident happened. Around the year 1930's scientists began to use breath and blood samples to measure the BAC level of the drivers. Many states made it illegal to drive with a BAC level above a certain point. There was a major issue in the antidrunk driving movement and gave formation to Mothers Against Drunk Driving during 1980. MADD was founded by Candy Lightner whose13-year old girl got killed because of a drunk driver. When the mother tried to check up on the driver's legal records she started to get frustrated by how hard it was, and with what she saw that nobody would really tak eit seriously. Candy Lightner joined forces with people all around the country who had lost family members as well as her all thanks to drunk driver's. Later on president Ronald Reagan signed the uniform Drinking age Act into law, mandating the states adopt a legal drinking age of 21. There are many tests a cop can give you to be able to know if your drunk or not like make you walk in a straigh line or standig on one leg for a period of time. If you are caugh lying about you beeing drunk the cop can arrest you.
